Terms of Service

These Terms explain how Pets In Black bookings, service visits, billing, cancellations, access notes, and customer responsibilities work.

Who we are

Pets In Black provides dog waste removal and related yard cleanup services in Mississauga, Ontario. These Terms apply when you visit the site, book service, approve a quote, use the customer portal, or receive service from Pets In Black.

Service description and area

Pets In Black currently serves selected Mississauga neighbourhoods, including Port Credit, Lakeview, Lorne Park, Mineola, and Clarkson. Availability may depend on safe access, address coverage, and cleanup-day capacity.

Starting a booking does not guarantee acceptance, an exact arrival time, or cleanup on a customer-selected day. Pets In Black may offer a cleanup day, schedule a premium yard reset first, provide an availability update, or decline work that is outside the service area or not available right now.

Booking and payment

The booking form collects contact, address, yard access, dog count, frequency, service area, and related cleanup details so Pets In Black can evaluate availability and provide service. Pricing is calculated server-side from dog count, service frequency, and selected add-ons.

Payments, invoices, subscriptions, and hosted invoice links may be handled through Stripe. Pets In Black does not store full payment card numbers. Service may require prepayment, invoice payment, or an active billing setup before or after service, depending on the plan offered.

Cancellation, refunds, and credits

Customers may cancel recurring service by contacting Pets In Black before the next scheduled visit begins. Refunds and credits are reviewed based on the visit status, billing status, and the reason service could not be completed.

If severe weather, access issues, or scheduling constraints require a missed visit, Pets In Black may reschedule, credit, or adjust the next visit.

Customer obligations

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service address, gate codes, entry instructions, garbage-cart location, dog count, yard notes, and any access limits or blackout days that affect service.

Customers must ensure the yard can be accessed safely, gates and latches are functional, the service area is reasonably safe to enter, and dogs are kept indoors or away from the work area during service unless Pets In Black has expressly agreed otherwise.

If the yard cannot be accessed, a dog is outside, the gate code is wrong, the bin is unavailable, weather or hazards make service unsafe, or the property condition materially differs from the booking details, Pets In Black may mark the visit as blocked, reschedule, charge a fee, issue a credit, or require updated access information.

Liability

Pets In Black aims to follow a consistent service standard, including secured gates, waste bagged for the grey garbage cart where available, and service-proof confirmation where applicable. However, outdoor service has practical limits and depends on accurate customer instructions and safe property access.

Pets In Black is not responsible for pre-existing yard conditions, hidden hazards, broken gates or latches, inaccurate access details, pets left outside by the customer, waste hidden under snow, leaves, debris, or inaccessible areas, or damage caused by conditions that were not reasonably visible during service.

Customers should contact Pets In Black promptly if there is a service issue, property concern, or billing concern so it can be reviewed while details are still current.

Breach and cure period

If either party does not meet these Terms, the other party should provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue where practical.

Weather and seasonal interruptions

Service may be delayed, shortened, skipped, or rescheduled due to severe weather, unsafe footing, snow cover, frozen waste, lightning, heavy rain, extreme heat, road conditions, or other safety and seasonal conditions.

If service is affected by weather or seasonal conditions, Pets In Black may reschedule the visit, adjust the next cleanup, or apply a service credit when appropriate.

Changes to these terms

Pets In Black may update these Terms as the service, booking flow, billing process, or legal requirements change. The Last updated date will be changed when the Terms are revised.

Material changes should be communicated in a reasonable way before they apply to active recurring customers, where practical.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
